A situation where the participant is in a losing position and cannot do anything in their power to change the outcome. Can be categorized as misfortune.
Guy 1: “Damn, I just put a band on this finals series and they’re saying Kevin Durant won’t play”

To break your skateboard in the very middle. Focusing all your weight and energy in the middle of the board. Intentionally or unintentionally.
