What is Bucky?
A word used to describe where the Vietnamese person hometown is located, which is Northern Vietnam for Bucky's. They have a slightly different accent from the Southern Vietnam people. Usually told by the Southern Vietnamese people they have a higher accent, but we really don't. We're just not used to each other's accent thats why. Most of all, Vietnamese ask other Vietnamese people where they are from and they would either say Buck or Nam to indicate their location.
Person #1:"What part of Vietnam are you from"

Basically Nammers, but speak with a northern Vietnamese dialect. Their parents come from the Ha Noi area in Vietnam. Truer Nammers usually dislike Buckies because of their accents.

To do a Bucky is to adopt a false persona in order to conceal one's homosexuality. Named after the fictitious, gay cowboy H. C. G. J. Bucky who believed that raising a ruckus would divert attention from his true nature.
