to disappear/leave without giving a real reason. The person using it can use "sketchin out" to cover up what they are actually doing. the crowd the phrase is used on, cannot ask any further questions of what they are leaving to do.

Sketchin out - what is it?
The actions of a drug exposed individual as they actively search for the location that they put the piece of crack that they can swear they set away for a rainy day or when they mistakingly thought the cops were gonna raid the sketchpad.
