Senator Shelby stood in the way of a bipartisan amendment which royally fucked America out of the crypto industry and all jobs that go with it just so he could try to get more military money then lied about doing it.
Definition: To intentionally stand in the way of progress and go out of your way to stop something that everyone else in the room is on board with doing.

Verb. The act of getting extremely drunk, wasted, or sloshed. Term originally given to people who had a few too many. Which are all followed up by the process of destroying the party through multiple drunken slurs and finally passing out in an upstairs bedroom because they are too drunk to make it home.
