What is pollada?
; A Peruvian low income people's party, consisting of selling a plate of cooked chicken to attend said party, the money collected is for funding the party and what ever is left over goes towards paying bills, debts, funerals....ect.
My friend's family is throwing a pollada this weekend to help cover for his big brother's surgery, and they're changing $10 per plate.
