What is insectoid?
Coined by Timothy Leary to describe the consciousness of the average joe. It cares only about survival, breeding, and dopamine influx (beer, drugs, sports). It has no higher mind, no real philosophy other than a generic, borrowed, and shallow outlook adopted by its immediate culture. It lives essentially to replicate its genome and any use of intellect beyond this is merely a feedback loop for its ssurvival and breeding goal.

What does "insectoid" mean?
both an adjective or noun. can be used to refer to people that have no inner monologue and act like hivemind insects, collecting resources for the colony. similar to NPC. also used to refer to chinese "people", since this is their default brain state.
"Have you seen the video where these insectoid gooks watch a kid get ran over in a parking lot and don't react at all?" "Yea I've seen at least ten of those, which one?"

A thing that looks slighty like an insect, except for a few minor differences, like hands or robotic parts, stuff like that.
