What does "hatfield" mean?
A little town in Western Massachusetts. Sitting right in between Northampton and Whately, it is home to the Smith Academy Falcons, corn/tabacco/potato fields, plenty of cows, and the Sofia Smith House. Rival high school to Hopkins Acadmey in Hadley Mass.

Hatfield - what does it mean?
A Canterbury Scene supergroup of sorts featuring members from Caravan, Matching Mole, Gong, Delivery and Egg. They tend to have the same whimsical feel of Richard Sinclair era-Caravan with extended, often jazzy instrumental interludes. And they are amazing.
Hatfield and the North make up for terrible lyrics with awesome everything else.
Hatfield - meaning
A quaint village located in the South East of Essex, England notorious for a strong farming community as well as the level of drive by shootings being considerably larger than that of neighbouring villages. Key land marks are The Great Barn, where 80% of all newborns are conceived and ironically delivered by Nurse of the Year 2009 Sara Nitram, The Village Hall where many functions take place including the annual HoeDown where performers such as Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus have found fame. A redneck farm town in western mass. Population : slightly over 3,000. The home of Smith Academy, the smallest public high school in the state. Known to residents of the Pioneer Valley as a great town to go to if you're looking for a good party in the woods, bonfires, big trucks, quads, guns, boats, beer, and underage sex. Many youngsters begin their steak of debauchery around age 12 or 13. Certain landmarks known to Hatfield residents include: The S-curves, The Park, Root country, Hatfield Pond, The river, The Orchard, Mama's, The Smithsonian, Horse Mountain, The Market aka Monty's, B's, Hatfield Pub, The Polish Club, The Bashin, The Boat Launch, The Power lines, The shallows, etc...

Guy 2: "Oh man, I don't even know where to begin! I went to Hatfield to bang some freshman, but I got sidetracked at B's and got shitfaced. We drove in circle around town for a while before getting word of a party at Root Country. We got over there but it was a weird party. Everyone was either 15 or 25.
