In some of the facilities with these dorms, the exit door is actually out of sight from the closed circuit TV cameras inside the dorm constantly monitoring the inhabitants. When "called/called out" to the paint by another convict, one should go hard with survival as the utmost concern, as one never knows what the opponent is capable of doing. Successful convicts more often than not, run off instinctual survival methods (break bones, incapacitate) in order to end the confrontation as quickly as possible without getting hurt and not be observed by the correctional officers charged with their well being.
