What is hand axe?

A fictional weapon type in World Of Warcraft classic that is highly coveted within by the Warrior class. One-Handed Axe users are typically players who made a mistake at character creation by picking a non-human race.

My "best-in-slot" One-Handed Axe is Crul'shorukh, Edge of Chaos, but I don't think it will ever drop because it isn't real.

What does "hand axe" mean?

A prehistoric tool that is the equivalent of an axe head yet was held in the hand. Made of stone, it was chipped around the edges to make it sharp. Most cavemen fossils are accompanied by these.

It wouldn't surprise me if stone age jungle dwellers still use a hand axe.
