What is half decent?
Schrödinger's decent.
Something that is mediocrely good and mediocrely bad at the same time
used when you don't want the opposite person to know whether you find something above average good or just about below average..
Shaun: Did you watch that movie I told you about?
Z: yes
Shaun: how was it?
Z: You know what, It was half decent!
