The practice has now given true classic cafe racers a bad name by association.

Haemorrhoids - what is it?
As coined by Stephen Fry on QI, it is a euphemism for the anus. The term has connotations of gay sex.

Haemorrhoids - what does it mean?
1) A person who can't take a hint and leave.
2) Unwanted immigrant, such as a Pom (someone of English extraction)
3) Any pain in the arse.
Poms are like haemorrhoids. They come out, they are a pain in the arse and they won't go back.
Haemorrhoids - meaning
A varicose dilatation of a vein of the superior or inferior haemorrhoidal plexus, resulting from a persistent increase in venous pressure.
Presents as a livid and painful swelling formed by the dilation of the blood vessels around the margin of, or within, the anus, from which blood or mucus is occasionally discharged. This is called haemorrhoids.
