3. want to "cyber" because they have no hope in real life.

5. want to bitch at people because they have nicer "avatars" or more "gold" than them.
6. are smart and don't make fools of themselves.
You earn "gold" and customize your avatars. You see people constantly beg for "gold" because they want to buy pixels to make they're avatar look better because they can't look that good in real life.
You see people constantly posting threads saying, "I NEED bf/gf" "omg pleez cYb3r m3!!!" because they have no hope in real life.
However, some people do not make a fools of themselves and they make online good friends who have common sense.

Gaiaonline - what is it?
An anime and avatar-based chat/networking site like myspace.
You use their currency - "Gold", in order to buy clothes and other shit. First day signing up, you are a poor avatar with starter clothes and 200 gold, which isn't worth shit. As you progress, you earn more, buy more, and do more fun stuff. They have a ton of items to select from. The possiblities for your avatar are endless.
However, this site is full of noobs, Narutards and furfags. Noobs usually spend their time trying to find dates and having virtual sex with other noobs' avatars. And if you are a teenager who likes slipknot and other nu-metal bands, DO NOT go to the Metal forums. It is full of elitist assholes and faggots who only like bands that nobody has heard of. They will flame you. This is the unfriendly side of the website.
Despite that, this website is a great website and is, in a way, better than fucking myspace.

Gaiaonline is an Animated Online Community for people who love to cyber and talk about anime. Seriously, it is impossible to be on Gaia for even 2 minutes without at least 1 person asking you to cyber.

Previously www.go-gaia.com, the GaiaOnline forum is a comunity where people get to interact with others of their intrests/people from other countries.
IT IS MORE THAN A CAN OF SPAM!
If you don't like spam, stay out of the Chatterbox and find a specific category. Gaia is more than that. You can find serious heated topics in the Extended Discussion. But there's more, you just have to scroll down. ^^ Like the Games subforum or the Arts subforum, or anything else.
Some people take it seriously, some people treat it as an Anime Myspace. Those people are the people that spam alot and can't get enough gold (gaian currency).

Gaiaonline - slang
Gaiaonline is a large internet community for people from many countries to get together and "chat" about anime, shows, books, and movies.
Members create their own avatars as either a guy or a girl. Once you pick your avatar you'll start to earn "gold" by chatting or playing games. The gold can be used to either
a. Play games such as slots, fishing, and soon card games.
b. Buy "items" or "clothing" for your avatar.
Some people believe gaia is just a full of spammers and people who cyber, but they most likely have not seen the whole site. In the forums you can talk, role play, debate, and voice your opinion with other people from all over the world.
Those who call Gaia a place for spammers most likely have only seen the "chatterbox" a forum made for that reason, spamming.
The site also has a long storyline made with NPCs and recently let the members decide the fate of them.
