Etudes - what is it?
(1) A charlatan posing as a trumpet instructor who offers no educational benefit to the student. (2) One who assigns etudes without offering help of how to play them. (3) One who checks off etudes each lesson regardless of the student's progress.
Charlie didn't help me learn how to play the trumpet, he just listened and checked off the etude and assigned another one for next week, since he isn't a real trumpet teacher, but an etude-checker.
What does "etudes" mean?
An étude (a French word meaning study), or study, is an instrumental musical composition, most commonly of considerable difficulty, usually designed to provide practice material for perfecting a particular technical skill.
Claude Debussy's etude (1915) conforms to the "one facet of technique per piece" rule.
Etudes - what does it mean?
1) an idiot that will not shut up
2) a person that is hated by most everyone in a forum-type enviroment
3) a persistant little bitch that insists that he/she is right all the time and will stop at nothing to keep from being heard.
