What is donghua?
Chinese animation that has become increasingly popular due to "The Chinese Wave." Many donghua's have garnered enough attention internationally to be made into cdrama's, manhua's, and a few have even been dubbed in English. Donghua's are the leading role in the animation market, various movies have even topped infamous Disney franchises. With a bright future ahead for cmedia, donghua's add more fuel to the fire of sinoboo's and sinophile's.

Donghua - what is it?
A type of Chinese animation thought to have originated since 1995. However, modern style of donghua emerges from 2010. Resembles a lot like anime (but it's not). Many donguas are inspired from manhua, novels, web novels, comics, webtoons, etc. China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are the places where all donghuas are published. Today, we have a lot of fans of donghua from Europe.
