What is cattiness?
Chinese unit of weight measurement. One catty is equaled to half of a kilogram.
1. The great sword weighed 40 catty(20Kg), and was nearly impossible wield by normal people.

Cattiness - what is it?
Usually used to refer to those of the female gender, describing the typical "high-maintenance" girl. Synonym for (or may be used in conjunction with): petty, bitchy, conceited, malicious.
Alyssa, the particularly catty girl down the hall, loved to spread rumors to instigate fights amongst the other girls.
What does "cattiness" mean?
1) If one is being catty, they are being subtly or indirectly insulting. Different from bitchy in that bitchiness is just mean, while cattiness is often clever and witty, and isn't ALWAYS completely mean (for example, a catty joke). Though it is most often used in reference to women, it can be used in reference to men as well.
2) Resembling a cat, feline.
Emily: Do you like this dress? I just bought it!
Karen: It's...interesting. Where did you buy it? I didn't know there were any thrift stores around here.
Emily: Wow, that was catty, Karen!
