What is awkward shuffle?
Usually happens when 2 cars pull up to a 4-way stop at the exact same time, or are trying to turn onto a 1 way street at the same time. Both cars stop, wait to see if the other will go, both go at the same time, and then stop and repeat the process a few more times. Very similar to 2 people trying to go around each other in a crowded hallway
Trevor: Why were you 5 minutes late getting here
Gary: Dude, it sucks driving to your house, I had 2 awkward traffic shuffles on the way over here

when you notice someone you have slept with before they notice you, and scoot around and out of sight without being detected.
Just did the awkward shuffle in the dining hall at 7:30 AM with a kid I hooked up with last weekend.
