What is autocross?
an efficient and highly addictive legal function used for (1) drastically reducing the tread life of a set of tires, (2) mercilessly destroying orange cones and (3) ruining a vehicle's alignment.

Autocross - what is it?
also known as Solo II racing-- the SCCA brand name for autocross competition. Solo II events are driving skill contests that emphasize the driver's ability and the car's handling characteristics. This is accomplished by driving a course that is designated by traffic cones on a low hazard location, such as a parking lot or inactive airstrip.
Autocross is the true grassroots motorsport.
What does "autocross" mean?
a.) A form of motorsport where a person can race anything from a completely stock grocery-getter to a full spec racecar can race against the clock around cones for bragging rights on what a good driver they are.
b.) Something you love that takes all of your time, energy, money, and attention. (also see wife or spouse)
