1) Virginity
2) Ability to take part in amateur tournaments in the game of golf. It is lost upon receipt of money for either playing the game or coaching another player.
1) Hey, Joey! I heard you lost your amateur status with Lauren last night, congratulations!
Guy 1: Hey, how'd things go with that girl at the club last night?
Guy 2: Pretty good, but I didn't do anything to interfere with my amateur status.
