When two people think they might like each other but they pretend not to because each is waiting for the other to make the first move so neither has to feel embarrassment if their feelings aren’t reciprocated.

When two fast vehicles drive full speed at each other and wait for the other vehicle to turn away. Whoever dos turn away is the chicken, but often times neither chickens out and they end up crashing.
