What is TrapStep?
A genre of trap and dubstep music that involves more influences of dubstep mixed with trap to give a "hard" feel to it.
Just listened to some pretty dope hybrid trapstep and now it's my new favorite genre of music!

What does "TrapStep" mean?
the combination between trap music and dubstep originally created by DJ Daytona Velasquez and perfected by "Pretty Ugly" (Timeline & Daytona).
Trapstep is -heavy 808 kit trap patterns with dubstep/electronic music influence.

TrapStep - what does it mean?
Subgenre of Dubstep coined by Bigbry in late 2011 early 2012 that combines Dubstep with elements of Trap music such as Trap-style Highhat patterns and 808 sub. Also called ElecTrap.
