Definder - what does the word mean?

What is Smallville?

Fucked-up, fictional TV place where numerous, horrific problems are caused by the arrival of alien Kal-el (aka Clark Kent - a young man with amazing supernatural abilities.)

His original mission was to rule the earth, but that's been changed by his own earthly morality. This yin-yang is the cause of everything bad that happens in Smallville and most of the nearby cities in Kansas.

Smallville would be normal if Clark Kent had never landed.

Smallville - what is it?

Just about the worst show ever made, along with Charmed and the Gilmore Girls. The idea that this girly-lipped, staring poof could ever be the future Man of Steel is bad enough, let alone using the Superman story to make a fucking soap opera for teenagers.

Bring on your thumbs downs, you clueless 14 year old slurries!

Smallville - what does it mean?

(N.) What he said plus more. Actually, it IS worth watching. It's worth watching Superman cry and bitch about not having Lana. It's worth watching Lana do the same thing to Clark. It's worth watching Chloe do the same thing as well. It's worth watching Pete end up in the hospital from the latest Freak of the Week. It's worth watching the Kents in their over-dramatic form. It's worth watching Lex Luthor fall ass backwards into some crazy situation cause he can't mind his own buisness. It's worth watching at least five random people get killed each week and nobody cares because they were just extras. (the Star Trek situation) And it's worth watching the crazy, teenage mutant ninja freaks such as the Shapeshifting Superdyke, Tina Grier. So when you take all of this into consideration, it IS worth watching!

It's not a drama, it's a comedy!

Smallville

A TV show that aired on October 16, 2001 and has been going on for nearly 8 years. So far a total of eight seasons have been released. The protagonist of the show is Clark Kent (Superman's human name), played by Tom Welling, in his teen years. The show focuses on Clark's growth into becoming Superman (examples include the development of morals and the accepting his "Kryptonian destiny"). Many allusions to Superman appear in Smallville, such as Clark's ability to only be able to wear red and blue (the colors of Superman). Overall, an interesting show with a good storyline, but with a somewhat repetitive plotline. I personally find the special effects very visually-appealing, and think that they are all excellently done.

Have you ever watched Smallville? When Clark Kent superspeeds the special effects are soooo awesome!

I learned from Smallville that Superman's real name is Kal-el!
