A low self-esteem engineer who works for Sandia Labs, who has no other identity besides the company they work for.
President Harry S. Truman asked Western Electric, to take over operations at Sandian as an "opportunity to render an exceptional service in the national interest," but Sandians, with their low self-esteem and peculiar need to feel important say that they are performing "exceptional service in the national interest."
