What is Rockford?
A cruddy town in Illinois. I go to the public school system here and the kids treat you like crap, rude people. Some are nice. The buildings suck and i cannot wait to move out of this trap. Yes we have a high crime rate. Drug deals have gone on by my house and i'm dissapointed, not as scared as others that our crime is bad because personally im used to it. Be careful here, theres robberies/drugs/ and assholes. Most teenagers are losers. Jobs are hard to find and we have such a bad look. Theres not really any good entertainment at all here. Rockford trys to be Chicago, not working.

Second largest city In Illinois. Home to an immense number of crackheads, heroin junkies, and really good drugs. Very high crime rate. Downtown is dirty & scary, west state street is just a bunch of crumbling buildings and houses, and the school system is a mess. Cherry Vale mall is kind of cool if you want to hang out at Zumies or Hot Topic and show off your new haircut. The Coronado is about all it has going for it, but even that kind of sucks.

City full of ugly redneck swedes, blacks, and mexicans. I don't know what that other guy was talking about with massive amounts of weed. Every building in this town looks like it burned down once and all of the people here I have met are assholes!!!!!I have lived here a long time but am originally from Indiana and have hated it here all this time!!!!No Jobs, No entertainment, no culture, no fun. Cops here are cocksuckers and try not to get killed by niggers on the west and southsides!!!!

Imagine if you will, a hick community that sports three Walmarts, where the most unfortunate aspects of society are on full display, fused with a dying manufacturing city analogous to Detroit. It has the same crime and poverty problems of inner city Chicago but none of its culture or other benefits. The school system very well prepares students for a productive life of janitorial service, or prehaps entrance into the fast food industry, which is the main source of income in Rockford, other then drug dealing and prostitution. On that note, It may be speculated that there is crack in the city water supply. For entertainment, the city has seventh street which has its selection of unregulated hookers of all shapes, sizes, and std's. Athough the only other from of entertainment is watching the buildings decay as you waste your life away in a drunken bliss, because in this town, alcohol is your only friend. As for love's park, a suburb of Rockford, there is no love there, just pain and suffering.
If you enjoy crack and hookers and high taxes with little return in services, then Rockford is for you.
Rockford of Tomorrow: The largest employer, Hamilton Sundstrand, which produces aerospace products will move out, which will compound unenployment to depression era levels. Meth, which is moving eastward form the West Coast, will most likely take its place.

If you aren’t a football star or one of the girls sucking him off good luck getting anywhere. The kids tend to do coke, but only stoners get arrested because that’s a drug for poor people. Oh and don’t move here if you’re not white, unless being treated like you have a rare disease is appealing to you.
