What is Pick Me?
the term “pick me” is a term used to refer to people who feed into narratives that are personally oppressive to them in an attempt to gain the approval, attention and/or validation of their oppressor. an example of this is a woman who puts down other women and feeds into misogynistic stereotypes in order to seem more appealing to sexist men in hopes of gaining their approval.
1. Becky always makes sexist jokes, makes fun of and shames rape victims, and shames other women when she’s around groups of men. Every time she’s around a guy- especially when she knows for sure he’s sexist- she will call other women dishwashers & go out of her way to put down the women around them with insults based in misogyny. A pick me is a woman that is willing to do anything for male approval. She will embarrass or throw other women under the bus to achieve this goal. The unfortunate thing about a pick me is usually the men they are trying to seek approval from are of poor quality and treat women badly, leaving little real benefit for the pick me.

What does "Pick Me" mean?
A derogatory slang term created and used immature "minors", or in other words 18 year olds that act like they're 12, that is famously used amongst roblox and apparently tiktok community that creates stereotype and bias amongst women; the actual term itself means to ACT a certain way to gain attention, people misunderstand this term and use this term as a bias against how women dress, not even act, like how the term is supposed to be defined. This word shouldn't even exist really, but "minor" society is often pressured by trends.
Roblox girl: You're such a pick me cause you have super happy face and dress so cute.
Other roblox girl: That's just a stereotype, and not to mention you're using the term all wrong, I haven't said or done a thing. I'm just playing the game and I happen to just love dressing up.

A woman who actively attempts to be picked for marriage. Often married by 25, the 'PickMe' women care about their image and know that their job is to be a good reflection of her man. The woman you picture in your head as a 'PickMe' is simply a twisted image of what a true PickMe is. This definition has been twisted by modern females who believe that they 'need no man'.

A woman is called a pick me anytime she holds women accountable for their bad choices. The woman being called a pick me in most cases is married and picked already. She tries to help other women but they want to continue to make bad decisions instead.
