What does "NoVa" mean?
Nova is a person who's funny,smart,kind,beautiful inside and out, Nova was named after a star showing a sudden large increase in brightness and then slowly returning to its original state over a few months supernova. She always has time for everyone, she will always listen to your problems and try to help you and make you laugh. She is an amazing friend to have and one of the best people you'll ever meet. Ok so its funny how all these Northern Virginians can sit here and diss Southern Virginia when honestly they do not what they are talking about. Ok they claim that they have the highest Education in the state BUT! Virginia Beach, Hampton,York county,Williamsburg, and Chesapeake are considered the highest educated schools in America. Also they want to considered us Country when Virginia beach and Norfolk are the biggest cities in the state. They want to play "ohh we got fairfax" fairfax is so small they can't even convert into a city (like Norfolk became independent and became a city and Princess Anne county became Virginia beach). Another thing they want to claim is how we are all unemployed and poor when our military bases control their military bases we basically protect NoVa from terrorist since you know we are the biggest military area in the country. We do have high end government jobs here from harbors, world trade centers, and port authority. Another thing is how we are all country but their are more Native New Yorkers and northern in SoVa than there is in NoVa. Not to mention its more ghetto up there then it is down here most cities in Hampton Roads made the lowest crime list.so before you start judging please learn the facts

NoVa, commonly spelled "nova" or "Nova," is slang for Northern Virginia.
In its four counties (Fairfax County, Arlington County, Loudon County, and Prince William County), NoVa contains the majority of Virginia's state population and economic ties. In fact, the economy is so efficient and plethoricly wealthy, that all four counties are in the top ten highest-earning counties in the United States.
Most people consider Northern Virginians to be snotty, arrogant, rich, and easily offended. This is not completely true. Rich, mostly yes. Arrogant and snooty, sometimes. Easily offended, not necessarily.
Northern Virginia (especially Fairfax County) boasts some of the best public schooling systems in the nation. The private schools, though, are also quite good but overpriced (just like the housing).

with much history and a quik trip to the Nations Capital, Baltimore, and many other great places is a very desired location for everyone who wants to "see it all".

An over whelming idiot who thinks he/she is the greatest thing to walk the Earth and we all owe them our thanks for being such an ass.
Born with golden spoons in their mouths they seem to not see that the world does not revolve around them.
With some of the Nations worst aggresive driving and public acts of Im a rich kid so do not bother me I will try and own you.
A true Northern Virginian is not hard to spot,
jeans or slacks with a sweater vest or polo tee shirt in all the correct sizes with a very nice brand new car claiming they are a gangster and from the hoods of NoVa.
