What is Money match?
A match, such as of Super Smash Bros Brawl, where the loser must pay a predetermined amount to the winner

Money match - what is it?
A one off match/set in any head to head fighting game, in which either or both players put forth a certain amount of money to be awarded in full to the winner.
After the tournament, I money-matched in the hotel room till I could pay it off.
