What does "LAFC" mean?
LAFC is a rebrand of the failed soccer team Chivas USA. LAFC plays their games in the shadow of the 5-time MLS Champion Los Angeles Galaxy.
Since their inception, LAFC and their fans (commonly known as "levas") have been struggling for relevancy, but have been unable to capture an audience outside of their miniature stadium, "The Stanc."
Levas routinely tout their participation awards and their current stadium's geographic location as their greatest achievements in an effort to paper over their long history of failure and choking in big games.
LAFC has become a synonym for a second-rate, obscure sports team with a small following.
The Clippers are the LAFC of basketball in Los Angeles.
