What is Kosovo's?
"Kosovo" is a wannabe-country (spelled correctly Косово и Метохија or transcripted correctly "Kosovo i Metohija") in the Southern Part of Serbia.It´s "ruled" by a terrorist, who cleansed Serbians for the UCK (Terrorists who fought for independence and against any non-albanian) in the 90s.
Kosovo always has been part of Serbia, is Serbia AND ALWAYS WILL STAY SERBIA
(UN Res. 1244 says territory of Yugoslavia (and Serbia as it´s sucessor state) isn´t allowed to be touched)

What does "Kosovo's" mean?
A Serbian name. Not Serbian land.
Named somehow after a battle took place in some year during 14th century, between the Turks and the Serbs. Was previously "Dardania" which most likely translates to today's Albanian Dard = Dardhë meaning Pear, or Land of Pears. So it's previously Albanian owned land.

Serbian territory,always has been and always will be.Albanians ARE NOT Illyrians,they are not the real inhabitans of Kosovo,Serbs are.There are no albanian buildings,monuments,churches or mosques older then 100 years in Kosovo!Serbs have monasteries older then 800 years in Kosovo.Reason that there are 90% Albanians now in Kosovo is because Albanians have bigger natality rate then the Serbs plus some 500000 Serbs fled Kosovo in the last 50 years,because Albanians terrorized them.Kosovo may now be independant,but Serbs will get it back maybe in 50,100 or 150 years,but they will!Albanians DO NOT have any DNA match with Illyrians,by the way!They are a mixture of turks who ruled the Balkans for 400 years and Slavs and Greeks!

as much as people want to say kosovo is not a serbian province.
we could use the same thing to say that USA isnt american because it was inhabited by other kinds of people before. the language of kosovo is ALBANIAN so is therefore an ALBANIAN province, not a serbian province.
proof of this is because long before that war happened kosovo was inhabited by a group of people called ILIRS. these people are the ancsestors of all albanian people, which is why many albanian people are called Ilir. the main tribe that was based in what is now kosovo are called the Dardans. the proof that these people are kosovan anscestors is because there are many albanians called DARDAN. another point that kosovans are not originally serbian is that there is no serbian name that is slavic. Also the land that the Ilirs occupied at the time (roman times - long before that war) covered most of south east europe.
Im sorry to all those serbians out there but serbians arent really popular with kosovans either. if it was serbian then kosovans would be called serbian and would speak serbian.
so all you people claiming that kosovo should be under serbian rule, you people are wrong, serbian control over kosovo has bought nothing but hate, death, war and loads of other bad things...

Kosovo is part of Serbia that wants to be a separate country. Kosovo has always been part of Serbia, and there are some of the oldest Serbian churches that are currently under protect, they are about 90% of oldest saved Serbian culture.
For people who say Kosovo is part of Albania, they are deadly wrong. if you dig a bit in history, you will find that Albania was part of Serbia that under the influence of big powers became separate country. Great powers tryed to prevent Serbia from getting powerful.
Kosovo is now days (October '11) trying to get their own country by blocking roads and using warnings. Since Serbia (along with couple other countries, for ex: Russia) said they will never support idea of Kosovo becoming country, the "case" will be open for a long time.

Kosovo is a province inhabited by Albanians but claimed by Serbs. Funny thing is, there were always very few Serbs there so their claims defy any known logic. Serbs have tried to cleanse Kosovo of Albanians several times throughout the history but they always failed. In 1999 NATO bombed the shit out of Serbs and Serbia for their latest attempts so Kosovo has been relieved of Serbian/Yugoslavian rule ever since and it is about to become an independent country in 2007. In these last few years, Serbs get fucked in and over Kosovo on daily basis.

A country in Southeastern Europe inhabited by Albanians which are descendants of Illyrians. Kosovo was called Dardania in the Middle Ages and Dardans were one of the many Illyrian tribes who inhabited most of the Balkans.
Serbs came to Balkans in 8th century and later they formed their nation. In the beginning of the 20th century they tried every possible way to invade Kosovo and they did this but they lost it in 1999 after the war between Serbia and Kosovo Liberation Army with the help of NATO who bombed Serbia from March 23 to June 10, 1999.
There are a lot of Churches build by Albanians in the 7th, 8th and 9th century but Serbs invaded most of them in the last century when they conquered Kosovo just to convince Europe that they were living in Kosovo for a long time.
90% of the people in Kosovo are Albanians but there are some Serbs, Romani, and some other small minorities but only Albanians are Autochthonous.
