KIP - what is it?
To cut something (usually a marathon course) short
I took a look into his marathon times, and when he sped up from 7 minutes per mile in the first half of the race to 5 minutes per mile for the second half of the race, it was very clear he kipped the course. The race director did disqualify.
What does "KIP" mean?
In my old age, a midday kip shortly after lunch is a must!
