What is Hush Puppy?
Code Word when some loud mouth will not stop talking or stop making noises and continues to intrude on other people's peaceful atmosphere in order to draw attention to themselves. When saying this, it usually involves eye rolling and a small shaking of your head....and thinking "Just Hush"
Instead of being rude and saying shut up please, you can just say hush puppies and everyone knows what you are thinking because they are thinking the same thing

What does "Hush Puppy" mean?
A side dish served most often with fried fish. Legend has it it was first created useing the left over batter for the fish at a fish fry. spoon fulls of the batter are dropped into the oil and cooked until golden brown on the outside. Legend also has it that the name came about from the fishermen throwing them to their dogs who would be whinning and begging for table scraps. These balls of fried left over dough were ment to, "Hush the puppies."
You go to any good fish fry anywhere in the south and you can bet that besides a plate full of fish, you will also get a mess of french fries, a big old serving of cole slaw, hand full of hush puppies and an ice cold glass of sweet iced tea.
Hush Puppy - what does it mean?
A Smith and Wesson model 39 modified with a shoulder stock, a locking slide and a suppresor. This weapons was designated Mark 22 Model O and used by the Navy SEaL's in Vietnam. Only a few undred were made and were mainly used for disabling sentryies, killing guard dogs and shattering lights. THe slide locked for maximum noise reduction and it's suppresor limited the effective range to around 100 yards.

He decided at the last second to order the dollar-sized Hush Puppies at Long John Silvers and the Cashier took the $1.06 from the stoner. After several minutes, she came back to the register with the stoner's money in her hand. She handed the money back to the stoner and said "I'm sorry, here's your dollar-six back. I can't handle Hush Puppies right now. Do you want fries or fish or something?" From that point on, the term Hush Puppies was coined.

A pejorative retail slang for window shopping customers (usually female) who like to try on numerous amounts of clothes and shoes but ultimately end up not buying them for a random pointless reason.
There are two types of hush puppies:
A Hush Puppy is a regular customer who has manners and may thank or apologize the sales associate for the inconvenience.
The Hush Bitch is a mean and/or rude customer who do not show manners. They will leave the store without word and will usually do it when the sales associate is at the storage looking for a shoe they asked for.
Both versions are equally annoying. Hush puppies and hush bitches alike are the mortal enemies of sales associates.
Sales Associate A: Dude, I had the worst day today. A Hush Puppy came to the store, asked for 5 pairs of shoes, and then said she didn't like them and just left.
Sales Associate B: Man, that's nothing. Today, a Hush Bitch asked me for 3 pairs of shoes in 2 different sizes, then just left when I was coming back for the other sizes.

A hush puppy is a sex move often utilized in domiciles that house numerous people in close quarters.
