Nickname for some one who comes from Guernsey, an island in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy. Only used when the person is away from Guernsey, it is liked by those who dont have to return and loathed by those who'd rather be anywhere else but must return home to Guernsey .

A Person from Guernsey in the Channel Islands, UK. Also commonly called a Donkey.
"Ah yeah he is an old Guern" is often used to describe an elderly local person who has lived on Guernsey for all or most of their life and who was born there.
