What is Elric?
The star of the anime FullMetal Alchemist. A boy who's mother died when he was young, so he and his brother tried to bring her back with alchemy, but instead, Ed lost a limb, and his brother Al lost his entire body. Edward used another limb, to put Al's soul in a suit of armor. Now they are searching for the Philosopher's Stone, a stone to help them regain their bodies. He also hates being called short or small. :)
"Have you ever noticed how short Edward Elric is?" Ed:"HEY!!! WHO'S CALLING ME A SHORT LITTLE SHRIMP YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE???!?!?!!"

What does "Elric" mean?
Edward (or Ed) Elric is the main character of a Manga and tv series called Fullmetal Alchemist. He, the Fullmetal Alchemist himself, is with his brother Alphonse, or Al, while they fight evil to get the Philosipher's Stone to get their bodies back. After their mother died and they tried to transmutate her, they failed and Ed lost his right arm and left leg, while Al lost his entire body. Ed bonded his body to an armor suit, and they headed off. Winry Rockbell , Ed's automail mechanic, goes along with the two to accompany them in their journey.

Elric - what does it mean?
A cute alchemist with long blonde hair and golden eyes. He is extremely sensitive about his height.

Elric - meaning
Super hot anime male who's been through hell and back, yet still smiles. He also sends poor innocent, non-fan-girls over the edge to fan-girl-ism, and thus has inspired a massive group of fan-girls that not only rivals, but beats hands down, that of Uchiha Sasuke. He is particularly short tempered, when it comes to his height, and will smash anyone's face in that calls him short. He is one of two main characters in Fullmetal Alchemist, a popular anime, along with his younger brother, Alphonse. Edward's outward appearance includes a shorter-than-average height, golden eyes, long blonde hair (Usually in a braid, but is also seen in a ponytail, and down), and is often wearing a red trench coat with the Flammel symbol on the back in black, along with black pants, a black top, and boots. Edward also happens to hate milk, with a passion I might add, and many argue that his refusal to drink any might be part of what caused his lack of height, relative to most males his age, that is. His iconic faces are; stubborn-face (we see that one a lot), grin-face (who doesn't know of his big, goofy grin?), and his milk-face.

Elric - definition
A giant asshole. Elrics are commonly known for being enormous gluttons, as well as having a ego larger than the VY Canis Majoris. They commonly make random insults that make no sense whatsoever. They also tend to doubt everything you say and will most likely end up in a mental hospital.
Guy 1: Dude, that asshole over there thinks he is hot shit.
Guy 2: Well yeah his name is Elric.
Guy 1: Oh, that makes sense.

Elric of Melniboné, albino prince of ruins, spectacular, tormented. Wielder of the Black Sword, Stormbringer. Eternal Champion. Last ruler of the Bright Empire of Melniboné. Twice betrayed - first by his cousin Yyrkoon, and second by his sentient sword, which killed his only love, the princess Cymoril, in the final fall of Imrryr the Beautiful, the Dreaming City.
Some consider Elric of Melniboné to be the greatest anti-hero in all of science fiction and fantasy.
Although his saga is over, author Michael Moorcock occasionally writes interludes in the tale of Elric from time to time.

One of the most honest people you'll ever get to meet. True to himself. Beautiful to all without knowing it. If you get to be one of the luck girls to date him make sure you keep him around. The fact that he doesn't like to talk much doesn't mean that he hasn't got something to say, so make sure to listen to him. Don't start an argument if you wanna win, he will never agree with you if it doesn't make sense to him.
One of the most caring lover (and friend) around. Will most likely think your problems are more important and easier to solve than his own.
