Definder - what does the word mean?

What is Devious Licks?

A stupid ass trend that involves stealing random stuff from school. These items can range anywhere from tissue boxes to laptops to school busses. Kids (Mostly middle and high school) do this for clout on Snapchat and TikTok because they have nothing better to do with their lives. The other day someone stole an entire soap dispenser at my school, so now we can't use the ground floor bathrooms.

Kid1: Just hit the most devious lick and stole one of the school's laptops.
Kid2: You're fucking stupid, you're gonna get suspended.
Kid1: Oh

Devious Licks - what is it?

(Noun)
As far as I know, it is when you steal something (you β€˜nick’ a good β€˜ol thing) from your school or public place (maybe, I assume I don’t know, I haven’t really looked at it yet) and then you post about it online because man it’s cool

Dude, did you see my devious lick on Tiktok? I got a soap dispenser, man. It’s freaking sick!

My mom was like β€œwhere’d you get that?” And I was like β€œI’m not telling”

What does "Devious Licks" mean?

Possibly one of the most stupid TikTok trends to ever come into existence. The trend consists of stealing one or even multiple random items from your school, sneaking them home via jansport backpack, and then showing them off to your 5 followers. Some of the most common items being stolen include soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, toilet paper rolls, exit signs, classroom signs, and other small/medium sized bathroom items or supplies. Some kids are so bold as to steal larger and often expensive items such as bathroom mirrors, sinks, projectors, bathroom stall doors, and even full on toilets/urinals.

The word 'lick' is a slang term that's used to refer to a successful theft mission that often results in a valuable reward for the protagonist. In this trend's case, the reward would be a high amount of likes and views, along with a large increase in followers on the uploader's account. And since people are really out here stealing entire sinks and toilets, these so called "licks" definitely are devious.
Hopefully the devious lick trend will come to a full stop soon, and all the affected schools will be able to move past it.

The more Devious Licks you hit, the more clout-hungry you look.

Devious Licks - what does it mean?

A dumb TikTok trend, (Because all dumb trends start with TikTok) in which school-age kids steal things from public places, school in particular, and post a video with a caption that says something along the lines of, "I just hit the most devious lick." This has gotten many kids in big trouble and, in bigger cases, in Juvenile Detention. Please do not do this. Your Mom would not recommend it.

I just hit the most devious lick of the century !
