Definder - what does the word mean?

What is Cheers Drive?

A term used to thank bus drivers, primarily used in South Wales and surrounding areas like Bristol.
Generally in these areas, you absolutely must say "Cheers, drive!", it is considered a societal sin to do otherwise.

The term is also used generally across Wales and England, but more sparsely so as opposed to South Wales and Bristol.

Beca: So how are-
Rhys: Oop! this is my stop.
*Rhys about to get off*
Rhys: Aye, cheers drive.
