An upgrade on rearranging the deck chairs on Titanic. To make the same futile mistake again in the face of the disaster, to not learn from previous mistakes despite somehow surviving first time around . The Carpathia being the vessel which rescued the survivors of the Titanic
Our response to the second surge of Covid was the same as the first surge, it felt like rearranging the deckchairs on the RMS Carpathia while sailing towards the same iceberg
