Sure, it will probably never become an important country on a worldwide scale but its still a country with a rich cultural background that has an impressive number of different ethnic groups. It is caught in a vicious never ending circle since its poverty keeps it from expanding economically which would be necessary to put a halt to the terrible living conditions.
