Similar to being rick roll'd, a person is blacklisted when they get sent a Youtube link to something supposedly amazing only to find it is Rebecca Black's "Friday." In reality, it's about a million times worse than being rick roll'd because IT'S REBECCA BLACK
The other day my friend told me about this great new rap video, but when I clicked the link "Friday," was blasted at me. I was blacklisted.

One who accuses another person of being a communist. The words origin is from the early 1950s during the red scare. Many celebrities were blacklisted

What does "Blacklisting" mean?
A list of disabled or suspicious serial numbers/program keys a manufacturer of a company makes to fight internet piracy.
I downloaded a great game, but all the serials in the *.txt were blacklisted. And the keygen was a trojan!

A list of people that are untrustworthy; deserving of suspicion.
The liberal elites criticize at will, but will cry "Blacklisting! Blacklisting!" when others criticize them. Maybe they're right. Folks like Tim Robbins are worthy of suspicion.
Blacklisting - meaning
Originally stemming from fear of Communism (ie the red-scare),it means you were suspected of being involved in Communism, and were put on a list with other such people, though most had done nothing wrong. Being on this list prevented you from doing lots of everyday things.
More recently associated with Seinfeld, when Elaine got herself, and then her boyfriend, blacklisted at the best delivery Chinese Food place around. They refused to deliver to the people "on their list."

Blacklisting - definition
To be denied services/participation from certain activities. Usually caused by disagreeable acts against a person, government, or something stupid you did.
Jim's Story:
After getting out of prison, Jimmy couldn't get a job anywhere but McDonalds. He felt he was blacklisted from any work other than crime or a McJob, so he went back to crime by stealing their chicken nuggets.
