The annoying, pretentious version of NFTY. Thinks they're better because they do no Jewish programming and their board positions are in Hebrew. BBYO < NFTY.

A youth group that is a complete copy of USY but with less attractive girls, less fun, and all around less awesome.

BBYO is an amazing youth group in which Jewish teens can hang out and go to conventions. Its definatley not a cult and we dont sacrifice animals! We learn our heritage, make friends, have dances, and do commnity service. BBYO changed my life in the best way possible.
Winter Cultural is one of the conventions in BBYO and it is a competition to see who has the most spirit compeating with songs we write, dances we make, cheers we make, and much more.
BBYO - meaning
The B'nai B'rith Youth Organization is an international pluralistic Jewish youth group for high schoolers. It promotes judaism and leadership. It has been around for more than 80 years and strives to better the community. With more than 18,000 members it provides its members with lifelong friends and strong morals.
I am a damn proud member of BBYO. It has enriched my life so much and has even helped me to get into college!
BBYO - definition
B'nai Brith Youth Organization. A jewish teen led orginization giving teens opportunities to make lifelong friends, obtain useful leadership positions, and learn about themselves as jewish teens and individuals. It is separated into two sections: AZAs- the boys; and BBGs- the girls. Both AZAs and BBGs strive to promote community service, pride in jewish heritage, and so much more.
BBYO has helped mold me into the person I am today.
