What is Altho?
Short form of "although". Similarly to "tho", the word is trying to make up for it's insecurities with the extra letters. It's telling that these superfluous letters spell out "ugh" and have no meaning or reason to exist, which shows the word's lackadaisical nature towards life and is a salient metaphor of how the people who overuse the word (typically hypebeasts) surround themselves with overpriced material goods to distract themselves from their menial jobs and meaningless lives
