ANTHRAX - what is it?
1. An 80s heavy/thrash metal band. Part of the Big 4 of Thrash, consisting of them, Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer. Did some stuff with Public Enemy that many people liked, but i personally hated. Overall, Antrhax is a great thrash metal band that gives you a Fistful of Metal! (Anthrax fans should get that)
2. A white powder, deadly when inhaled. Often used by terrorists in envelopes so, when opened, the opener would be doomed.

What does "ANTHRAX" mean?
Kick-ass 80's metal band, rhythm guitarist Scott Ian is probably the best known member.
One of the 'big four' of thrash metal: the others being Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer.
Contrary to 'ash's definition, the original vocalist for their 1st album (Fistful of Metal) was Neil Turbin, who left soon after to pursue a solo career.
The majority of people agree that Joey Belladonna was the best singer (Armed and Dangerous - Persistance of Time ERA) , and the rcent reunion is the best thing since... when he was in it before.
I went to see Anthrax play at Rock City the other week, they only played their old stuff, it was totally awesome.
ANTHRAX - what does it mean?
Often wrongly touted as a weapons of mass destruction, anthrax is in fact used as a 'weapon of mass death', as it causes very little destruction, and lots of death.
"Anthrax killed several thousand people today, but caused little destruction."

A white powder, similar in appearance to cocaine, which kills by destroying the lungs of the victim when inhaled. The victim's health instantly deteriorates seconds after breathing it in.
A weapon once commonly used by arab and muslim terrorists, but now it is rare to hear of an anthrax attack.

Awesome metal band. Even if you don't know who they are you probably know of Scott Ian, the band's lead guitarist and backup vocalist -- he is usually a commentator on VH1 programs.
