What is vote?

1. Term for any activity constituted as a waste of time which deceptively interrupts ones ability to focus on more important tasks.
2. Distraction of the public by the american aristocracy so practicing of over half the terms invented on urbandictionary.com may take place.

Debating on what could be possibly be the most useless way to spend his time, he eventually decided to pause Gigli and go voting.

Candidate1: "Good thing everyones out there Voting, now i can get that blumpkin I deserve! By the way, the campaign manager wants to know when you're going to return those clothes? You look like a Blingleberry.

Vote - what is it?

The process whereby enfranchised persons within the body politic attempt to exchange one mob of hapless bastards for another.

After the impeachment, the voting at the next election was furious.

What does "vote" mean?

In an election, the process whereby elegible citizens submit their choice for the person/party who gets to exploit them for the next 3-4years. People will often get wildly enthusiastic about which dishonest piece of crap they're going to "vote" for this time around, completely forgetting their previous experiences with politicians, which resembled nothing so much as being simultaneously mugged, insulted and assraped. If voting could change things, it would be illegal.

Person 1: Dude, are you voting today?
Person 2: No, this time around I thought I'd just save time and ask a Hell's Angel to beat me up and rob me.

Candidate: And will you be voting for me today, sir?
Voter : Why yes I am! Here, let me bend over this chair so that you can more conveniently assrape me...

Vote - definition

(Refferring to US "voting".

Contrary to popular belief among young people who do not vote, you do NOT elect the president directly.

You actually choose people to vote, called electors. These electors promise that if they are elected, they will vote for either candidate. However, they do not have to hold to this, and last minute bribes can be done.

Sound unfair?
The world won't change if we don't stand up for our rights as a people, and choose the right decision for the community.

Barbara Boxer of California is currently trying to stop this.

(Voting, when not reffering to the above, basically means submitting any type of entry to choose something. Although it represents whatever is good for a group (what the group wants, not what it needs), it most likely ends up being a bad idea.)

In class we voted for what songs we wanted to play at the dance, but since our class was primarily immature sluts, they played a combination of annoying pop/rap.

You know, we could have done a lot better than the ape in the chair who enjoys pressing the big red button set up in front of him. Something tells me that what John Timor* told us is going to be true...

A guy who claimed to be from the future on some stupid forum, and whom I doubt. What he had to say would be pretty good for a scifi novel, even if it was most likely fake. (Johntimor.com)

Vote - slang

A way for the government to get us to believe that we are choosing our country's leaders, when in reality, our votes hardly even matter.

At best, my vote can only tie, so why bother? Unless they miscount in Florida...

Vote

on a specific day, people go to designated areas and cast ballots for their choice of candidates; in other words, "voters" pretend they have a choice in who will do what; "candidates" pretend they act on their own, and instead follow agendas dictated by the ruling elite; this is not cynicism or defeatism, and it is not the polyannish, sugary sweet view either; it is, instead, the way it is; also, a person has the right to vote, or not to vote, and it is not up to the approval or disapproval of another; this word, vote, should not be on the urban dictionary, because it is too politicized, and too much of a page for rants and raves, especially, stupid, racist, low-consciousness ones

I am going to vote, because I like to pretend that by going throught the motions, I have somehow expressed a choice.

Vote

The best way you have of voicing your opinion in a way that can matter. Nothing's perfect, and there's always going to be mistakes, but there is simply no excuse for not casting a ballot for what you believe in. Take the time to understand the issues and then take the time to vote. Don't let people who aren't going to be around four years from now decide your future. Complaining without voting is worse than any hanging chad.

My conscience is clear because I took the time to vote.

Don't worry about rocking the vote, just vote!
