What is twitter canceling?

When someone did something bad, like make a sex tape or say a racist tweet that someone got ahold of, or found out about.

"Hey, did you hear Warner Bros. is being canceled?"
"Yeah, dude! This is just one of many forms of Twitter Canceling!"
