The token gay guy is a stereotype that features in comedy movies, most often chick flicks. He is usually sidekick to the female protagonist, offers fashion and relationship advice and goes shopping with her.

Token Gay Guy: Omigod darling, that is so fab.
What does "token gay" mean?
A boy that is a girl's best friend, who she treats like a fellow girlfriend. ( basically special treatment, stuff she wouldn't tell to other guys)
