What is the mike effect?
A cultural phenomena which can be observed when a friendly african-american (black) male enters a crowd of predominantly caucasian (white) males, and is immediately greeted with great praise and gifts.

Named for Mikes Hard Lemonade, which everyone knows is a drink for women, but is probably really good, and if you drink it once you will like it and order it out with the guys and they will ridicule you forever.
Can be applied to addictive things (drinking, smoking, certain foods) or just things you don't want to like (appletinis, teen dramas on tv, crocs)
Michael is watching One Tree Hill again. He watched that crap once and now he is suffering from the Mikes Hard Effect.
What does "the mike effect" mean?
The phenomena in which people remember something a certain way but in reality it was never that way at all. Remember those memes mid 2020 where people would edit Mike Wozowski from Monsters Inc and give him two eyes instead of the one that he actually had. That meme became really popular, so much so that it was first image that would pop up when you would look up Mike Wozowski. This caused massive confusion, making Mike with one eye look unnatural.

The commonly observed phenomenon originating from one nigga from UB named Mike. Effects include involuntary acts of forgetting, fucking up, or otherwise bullshittin with episodes most commonly occurring moments prior to departure.
