What is the lads?
A lad is a male who specialises in creating and distributing exquisite banter. Though most lads are youngish (late teens and early twenties) age is not a defining characteristic and you will find both young lads and old lads. Some special skills of lads include, but are not limited to the following:
- Binning Pints
- Exposing genitalia and getting naked in public places
- Throwing up after copious alcohol consumption
- Spousal Abuse
- Getting kicked out of pubs/nightclubs for being overly offensive
Excelling in all areas will earn a lad the title of "top lad". There is no higher praise that can be bequeathed upon an individual.

What does "the lads" mean?
In Britain (there's already loads for definations for the way Australians use this word), this word generally means a young male. However in modern Britain this word has come to mean someone who engages in typical testosterone-driven behaviour such as drinking, sport and having a laugh with mates, sometimes harmless, sometimes obnoxious or even worse antisocial. There was once the phrase "Jack-the-Lad" (a rogue), "laddie" has long been part of the Scottish dialect, and in the 90s something called "Lad-culture" arose, where the aforementioned behaviour was celebrated. Girls who behaved in a similar way were called "Laddettes". There is also the adjective "laddish".

The way in which a true lads lad can differ slightly but common behavior of a lads lad is :

- Cringe-worthey banter.

Despite a Lads Lad been hailed as a King by the male sex deep down they know this is the incorrect road for them because in the end all lads need some gash at the end of the day.

A crowd who mainly hang about wolferton 6th form, pertending they're all gonna go to Uni and be sucessfull. But in realty their lifes are in a current state of total chaos and have been ever since the introduction of Frost and Joe into the group (aka: the beef barrons.)
The group varies in size depending on the mount of beef brought to any one event, or the likly hood of the individual members to get in (eg Frost never gos to Spiders, and Wanye never goes anywhere cool!)
Although given the name 'the lads' they now consist of nearly as many girls, namely, Ollie, Gemma and Irene.
The lads would like to appoligise for any inconviences/arguments/fights/mass destuction/holocausts they might be responsable for.
They justifie all acions with one simple phrase (as used by Boss man in court case on Monday): "WE'RE ABOVE THE LAW!!!!"
