An abbreviation for "good character(s)". It refers to a person or persons who is/are extremely interesting. Good characters do not always have to be your friend; as a matter of fact, they are often seen as complete jokes to you and your friends. GC's are usually invited to parties to enhance the quality of the pictures that will be taken and uploaded to facebook.

Abbreviation for "Gender Critical", another term for TERF, which are people who believe that women can only be women if they are AFAB (Assigned Female at Birth).
Did you notice how GCs are now trying to co-opt Terry Pratchett as someone who would have supported their agenda, even though if they've actually read Terry Pratchett's books--particularly Discworld's "Monstrous Regiment", "Feet of Clay", or any of the ones involving Cheery Littlebottom--they'd realize that he supports people being whatever gender, or lack thereof, that they choose to be.
