What is stoicism?
Mild stoicism encourages individuals to approach daily challenges with a calm and rational perspective, recognizing that they cannot control everything that happens to them. By focusing on their own actions, attitudes, and choices, individuals can cultivate resilience, maintain emotional balance, and make the most of each situation they encounter.

Stoicism is a school of philosophy that derives from ancient Greece and Rome in the early parts of the 3rd century BC. Stoicism is a philosophy of life that tries to maximize positive emotions while attempting to reduce negative emotions, and helps individuals to hone their virtues of character.
Simply, Stoicism focuses on not preventing from bad things happening, but focuses on how you handle when bad things happen.

Stoicism focuses on living a virtuous life, and devoting yourself fully to your task at hand, while stressing indifference to the events outside of your control. Stoicism teaches that the quality of life depends entirely on the individual, and that events can only make you persistently depressed or unhappy when you are a faggot.
Stoics experience emotion like any other person, they have just realized that it is a self-harming choice to allow emotions to effect your well-being after the initial emotional reaction has passed.
