Mess Kit - A collection of silverware and cookware used during extended military campaigns.
Shit in ones Mess Kit - Military term meaning “to fuck oneself over”. Who in there right mind would shit in the very thing they are going to eat out of?

1. When a room is so filthy dirty that it looks like an overused and under cleaned outhouse.
2. A terrible predicament. Similar to one being up shit's creek without a paddle.

Shit-mess - what does it mean?
A term for what's found on the bathroom floor after one has defecated or shat in the toilet and clogged the toilet bowl with paper or paper towels and the shit and toilet paper has overflowed from the toilet onto the floor.
