Used to be one of the best ninja games for the Sega Genesis, now it's just some generic 3D hack-n-slash game for the Playstation2 where Joe Musashi (the main character) now looks like a Strider ripoff.

This move is usually employed later on in the night when the person has had too many drinks and doesn't want to deal with telling everyone goodbye. Coined after the "throw a smoke bomb and retreat" method used by ninjas.

A high level ninja, highly trained in the art of stealth. Roughly translates into "Walker of Shadows" or "Warrior of the Night." These ninja were considered to be very powerful in both body and spirit.
He disappeared like a shinobi. In the blink of an eye, and only the sound of a muted whisper, he was gone.
