a real friend is someone who isn’t fake, someone who puts you first, someone who doesn’t hide things from you, someone who tells you EVERYTHING, someone who has your back, and someone you can rely on.

"Real Friends" is used to a describe a friendship between two people that completely understand each other. It's the upper echelon of all friendships and is even ranked above the relationship. Keep in mind though that the "real friends" are not gay, it's just that their friendship is so strong that even a heterosexual relationship between a couple cannot compared to the strength of this friendship.

The one person that will stand by you, no matter what. They will help you with your problems and give you the advice you need, even if it isn't what you want to hear. They will put you first and make time for you when you need them. They will always have your back when you need it but won't hesitate to tell you when you're wrong.
